The Blizzards - The Reason (Music Video)

Irish indie band, The Blizzards, recently commissioned Wyld Stallyons to produce the music video for their single 'The Reason'. While I think the song blows, I really dig the video. Here is what the producer had to say about the video:

"Taking the lyrics as our inspiration, we took the germ of an idea from the singer of the band and combined it with some thoughts of our own about unrequited love and giant monsters destroying a city. We blended 3D and 2D animation to create a strange, monochromatic world for our characters to inhabit; and thanks to the power of Relentless energy drinks and our ability to go without sleep for days, the video was turned around in record time."

Apple triBook Info Leaked

Seems like the geniuses over at Apple are still geniuses. They have recently leaked some information about their next next concept - the triBook.



The dimensions for the triBook are 6.75 x 10 inches, and it is about 1 inch thick. When folded out, the landscape display is about 21 inches (cartwheel, cartwheel).

Laser Graffiti @ Art Basel (Miami)

Here is a video I cam across of some very dope laser graffiti done by Graffiti Research Lab (GRL) at the American Airlines Arena in Miami during Art Basel shortly after the Gen Art Vanguard show. Of course, some cops had a stick up their ass and decided to be 'agua fiestas' .

I don't hate many things, but I really do hate cops.

Mario Brothers Pin Mosaic

Here is a push-pin mosaic mural created by the CIS Student Association at the University of the Fraser Valley. It took 17,000 pins to make this Mario Bros. piece. Its currently located at the university's Student Computing Center.
