Speaking of Tilt-Shift, here's some interesting photography/video work done by Keith Loutit. He used a combination of a Stop Motion process to make a bunch of photographs look like videos and a Tilt-Shift effect to make the people in the photographs look like miniature models. This series is all done in his hometown - Sydney, Australia. Really cool stuff.
