Miami-raised and Brooklyn-based artist Josè Parlà is finally set to show his first solo exhibition this weekend at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms in London. It has been quite a ride for Parlà, who used to write graffiti under the name EASE from the famed Inkheads crew (some of my favorite work as a graffiti-loving teenager). It's good to see him be able to adjust from graffiti to more respected art. Here is what his work looks like now:
